In our love for our children  which in this generation do have their challenges and we find ourselves correcting raising our voices giving them consequences etc so consider having  one day  a week as a "punishment or consequence free day" where you plan some fun activities that you know your kids would like and then give them the greatest thing your kids want ,your time where you just enjoy them ,let them be themselves , experience them in their awesome unrestricted beauty and greatness thereby reinforcing your unconditional love which they will remember the other days of the week when consequences may be in order
